Problem Day

Problem Day was commissioned by Actability Inclusive Theatre, a drama group for disabled learners performing alongside able learners.

The piece is a comedy with song and dance, rather than a full blown musical.

A group of people with nothing more in common than their frustration with an unnamed organisation, converge on the organisation's offices to demand action on their grievances. Confronted by the quick-fired jargon and gobbledegook of an overblown official, the group cause havoc in a bid to be heard and dealt with appropriately - but will that work or backfire?

After a preview performance in November 2008, the play is now in full rehearsal. It will be Actability's community show for this year, becoming the company's touring work, next year.

Performances of Problem Day are now subject to licences issued by the publisher New Theatre Productions.
